Carley Lovito is a writer, director and actress from Long Island, New York. In 2023, she graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with a B.F.A. in Drama.

Carley is passionate about telling stories that blend realism and poetry, communicating heightened and vibrant inner worlds with a narrative lens. She is drawn to complex roles and punchy stories. She has worked closely with the New York Theatre Barn, MTV, and written original music and lyrics for multiple new works including 'Everything I Never Told You'.

Her roots are planted in the queer beach community of Fire Island Pines, where she grew up immersed in the musical theatre space. Carley was inevitably influenced and constantly inspired by the lush history of the Fire Island Pines creatives that came before her and continue to guide her.

Carley founded the brand AFOODYWITHABOOTIE in 2021 with the mission to empower all people, but especially women, to perform at their happiest and healthiest through fitness, mindfulness, and nutrition. In 2021, Carley self published her first book, titled The Realignment. Teaching mental health and physical wellness practices to lead women and all people to a sense of transcendence in their every day lives, as well as inspiring spaces for community and story-sharing is massively important to her. Under Afoodywithabootie, she does this through blogging, producing content and strategizing digital media marketing for major companies, and hosting community events.
